Plz reply!!!
I've a friend currently studying there.
For ambedkar, prepare any one subject very well, they ask which is your fav subject and ask questions based on that. They don't ask you deep logical stuffs. Interview questions are very normal, eco hons syllabus based. This is what she told Me.
Faculty- people studying there are fan of their faculty. They say it is very very good. Not a single teacher there is lethargic or not good at teaching. Good faculty is best part of Ambedkar
Course content- very very rigorous, advanced level of each subject, so good for research and academics. Course structure though is not very mathematical and thus diff from DSE. Even no university can compare dse, isi, igidr, shiv nadar univ and jnu SIS (not sss) in terms of mathematical and statistical course content. That's what I've observed. So its upto individuals, how much they enjoy their college libraries on their own.
Placement - for the time being they are in procedure to build a placement cell. Otherwise zero placements till now. But you get to learn a lot so you might lend up getting off campus.
I am currently a student there.
whatever is written is perfectly correct but just one correction i would like to make.. prepare for any two of your favourite subjects... they'll ask u ques from there only... also if your favourite subjects happens to be macro... prepare for it really well....
Yuganshi is RS also right about the course structure being theoretical...
And is there really no on campus placement opp.
And 1last thing can u elaborate about the interview process like
Some anecdotes from ur interview......
