If you have seniors studying in DSE, kindly ask them. Or could you please ask the coaching institute wale? I don't know anyone around since I'm from Kerala. =/

The process is getting creepier by every passing day. None of the updates come with instructions or messages on what needs to be done. This has just added to the worry. I don't see Delhi School of Economics anywhere. I just hope its the same for everyone.

That's one possibility, it could mean seats are open in these colleges as well and they get filled through the same exam. This is apart from the ~200 seats open at DSE. Right?

Is there anyway to confirm? If you know someone from the ongoing batch, they would be able to throw some light on this.

This goes on to mean that DSE has a separate procedure to admit students and that DU & DSE run as two mutually exclusive bodies.

Hold your horses men. This is irrelevant for economics admissions if you have studied dse handbook, you can fill any college you prefer, but all the classes are conducted at dse and at the time of admission it is offered to get admission at dse or to take admission at some college whuch has never been preferred by any.

i think we should mark our preferences according to reputation of the college ... if this is wrong den dere ll be no loss ..if this is not wrong den ..still dere ll b no loss ..
dats a dominant strategy

So, does that mean it's okay to mark our choices on the portal? Even the handbook thing doesn't match with what is given on the portal.

"After being selected for the M.A. Economics programme, students may enroll themselves
either in the Department of Economics at the Delhi School of Economics, or in any of the
colleges of the University of Delhi listed below"

So, does this mean DSE is the default choice?

Re: All the best for DSE results!

Mister
Yes! But given only 4 choices while there were 12 or 13 colleges in dse handbook, it mismatches, so give the best your first priority just in case, otherwise whatever i said earlier is what the history says.

Re: All the best for DSE results!

So, let me put things together. DSE will put up the list of students eligible to join D-School. D-School's admission procedure runs parallel to DU's allotment to these colleges. DU runs a separate allotment for students who'd like to do their Masters in any of the colleges listed on the portal.

Is that all?

Hi, I have a question. When we enter the percentage are we supposed to enter the major(economics) percentage or the overall percentage? We get separate scores and CGPA for economics (major) and extra subjects, which one should I enter? The combined one or just the econ one?
