Centre for Development Studies as an Option?

Hello All, I was going through the college websites and found the CDS as a very interesting college. They have nice faculty, innovative course with emphasis on empirical economics, beautiful campus along with well stocked library( They even have personal books of Nicholas Kaldor, donated by his family) Since it is in south and the programme is relatively new, not many people know about it or have kept it as their last option. I think it should be among the top ones. Also the degree is provided by JNU, which has had made its name in the Economics field since a long time. Their Placement Brochure gives a nice snapshot of the alumni and people (faculty, visiting people) associated with the college. Yeah its a good college.....BT it has only 16 -17 seats...I saw on its students list of 2013 n 2014
