In no parameters, especially SSS. If it was IGIDR, one could at least make an argument regarding the (supposedly) better infrastructure (though I really don't understand why that should matter much at all), as compared to DSE. Single accommodation hostels and all.
But, JNU hostel is a mess. As in, you will have to live in an open dormitory for at least a major chunk of your first semester.
The ONLY thing where SSS scores above DSE is if one wishes to study for UPSC, purely because the JNU SSS course is the least intensive among the top 5 courses (DSE, ISI, IGIDR, JNU SSS and SIS). However in such a case the student anyways doesn't want to study economics.
