thanks arushi

Do you know the answer for this ?

1) intersection ( -1-1/n , 1+1/n)
n goes 1 to infinity

2) union [ -1-1/n , 1-1/n ]

a) (-1,1)
b) (-1,1]
c) [-1,1)
d) [-1,1]

@Prasidhi
The union of sets is open interval
and intersection is closed.You can also put the values in the question .You will get the same ans:)Cheers

THE ANSWER for both the questions is open interval :/

for union the solution says as n tends to infinity it tends to 1
Bt since n is not equal to infinity we cant say it is equal to 1.
Hence open.

sounds weird.  i dont really understand. if u could please explain ?
Thankyou
