=[P(X<-1)+ P(X>1)]*P(Y<-1)
=[P(X<-1) + P(X<-1]*P(Y<-1)   using property of N(0,1) distribution which is symmetric about x=0.
=[p+p]*p                               since X and Y are iid and P(X<-1) =p (given)
