DSE Entrance Exam 2017 queries (calculators and dates)

2 questions, please do let me know if anyone has the answers:

1) Are basic four function calculators allowed in the paper? The handbook of information just says it's not needed, I've heard that they do not disallow them though.

2) Any update on the date from someone who asked D School?

No. Any type of calculating device is not allowed.. Last year too students were not allowed to use any sort of calculator.

Are we suppose to learn those value at certain alphas ??
