Thank you so much for sharing that, I was under the impression that it was a 100 mark paper.
I thought each question was 2.5 marks last year.
I know this doesn't actually seem like it makes a difference but people kept saying the cut off last time was 50, which I assumed was either 50 marks or percent (out of 100)
If the paper was out of 120 now I'm not sure, was the cut off last time 50 raw marks or 50 percent marks (I. E. 60 raw marks)
Anyone want to clarify? People will definitely be curious about this post the exam :P
passing marks of entrance is 48 (40% of 120). You should have to score at least 48 to pass the exam , but this is not enough to secure seat. You have to score more so that you can get into list. cut-off marks depends only on difficulty level of exam paper.
Right but people getting above 50 did secure a seat last time right?
I know their official "passing" marks are 40% but DU also mentions on their bulletins that >=40% is more like a necessary but not sufficient condition for admission.
When I was asking people I was asking them about the cut-off in terms of the marks people needed to actually get a seat, not the minimum eligible marks.
