Q-1   Train 1 is scheduled to arrive at a station between 8:00-8:30 AM while Train 2 is scheduled to arrive at the same station between 8:10-8:30 AM. Find the probability that Train 2 arrives before Train 1.

Probability that train 2 arrives before train 1 =  ∫ P (train 2 arrives before t | train 1 arrives at t) P (train 1 arrives at t)dt
for t <  10, P (train 2 arrives before t | train 1 arrives at t) = 0
for 10 < t < 30, P (train 2 arrives before t | train 1 arrives at t) = (1/20)(t - 10)
Integrating from 10 to 30,  ∫(1/20)(t - 10)(1/30) dt = [(1/600)(sq(t)/2-10t)] = 1/4 + 1/12 = 1/3
