0 is not included so its not a subspace
 0.u ( u is a vector of the given set) does not belong to the given set  ( draw the graph for reference)

And linear dependence and vectors

are really difficult for me.

I would really be grateful if u can tell me the name of the book.

Hey Shree Sorry for the late reply!

So our references were S. Adrilli and D. Hecker Elementary Linear Algebra, Academic Press 4th Edition
and Kolman and D.R. Hill, Introductory Linear Algebra with Applications, 7th Edition.

But I think we only covered the topics of Subspace and Linear Dependence of Vectors in the portions of these references, the concept of Infimum, suprimum, Neighbourhood was not taught in this course.
