Econometrics-Gujrati problem
Y^=0.2033+0.6560Xi
Se 0.0976 0.1961
r^2=.397 RSS=0.0544 ESS=0.0358
Y=labot force particiaption of women in 1972 and X=LFPR in 1968
Suppose LFPR in 1968 was 0.58.Establsih a 95% confidence interval of the mean of LFPR in 1972

We use forecasting for such questions.
Y0 hat +- t value*se (Y0 hat)
where Y0 hat is b1+b2X0=0.2033+0.6560*.58
=.5838
Now substitue Y0 hat value and se values....u will get ur confidence interval :)
