Econometrics for DSE entrance.

Akshay, I am really grateful for your selfless efforts for us kids.Actually I was completely lost in the big list of books and no specific guide, then you came with your amazing idea and I followed the way you showed and I am feeling proud to say you that I solved all the DSE prev. papers !!(except questions from econometrics.)

Now , please guide me with econometrics. Actually, you have showed Basic Econometrics by Damodar Gujarati, but I do not have tis book as printed edition, though I know many e-book links for this. But, as you know, reading from e-book is really tedious and my eyes can't handle this torture. Actually, I have this book from dougherty "introduction to econometrics".
Is this sufficient?

Actually, I am interested to know how many questions from econometrics are asked in DSE entrance as econometrics is really new subject for me as nothig was taught in my bachelors about econometrics. So if I skip econometrics completely, what are my chances of DSE admission?

first  of all congratulations dat u solved all DSE prvs yr pprs in 1st attempt...... 
and for econometrics its advisable to follow the book which i mentioned.......I dnt no about other books so cant compare....

8-10 marks are given to questions of econometrics and if u skip this den surely there is a less chance as its weightage is quite good.

WH Greene is also good for econometrics used in calcutta univ

u can get a xerox copy of various books @DSE fotocopy shop at reasonable rates....
and consider buying books for preparing as an investment not an expenditure.....vl definately giv returns in the future if u use them to the fullest.....
