Anyone going for gipe this year? Which are the main areas to focus on? also any idea about the type of questions they ask? please help

Check their website, under the admission guidelines, you'll find a tab.

Section A will have Maths and Statistics

Section B will have Logical Reasoning

Section C will cover Economics-Micro,Macro, International and stuff on Indian Economy.

mine pune...!!! actually its with all institutes...they provide very easy samples but exams are harder!!!

I know right (sigh) bdw which books are you reading for Macro and Micro? all that math part specially!

micro- varian
maths- haymmond
macro- mankiw and from +2 books

books you are preferring especially for stats. coz they ask theoretical questions more rather practical ones.!!!!

Actually I was a commerce student so my basics are pretty clear, for stats I'm referring my old college books and Basic statistics by Nagar and Das. Its like all in one thing for basic theory.

Also Fundamentals of mathematical statistics by Gupta and Kapoor is nice.
