Sandeep , is essay a part of GIPE's exam syllabus ?

is this (along with the previously posted model paper), the ones that GIPE put up for last year?

The recent 2 i downloaded from the GIPE website dont mention of the essay at all.

SO even i would want a conformation as to whether we need prepare for the essays or not! :(

Tanya I suppose there is just one sample paper on GIPE website. From where did you get the second ? Moreover that sample paper has questions from just mathematical part.

I had clicked on the very same link a few days back, somewhere after the 22nd of may. The model paper i was linked to was different than the one Im being linked to now (as in yesterday evening - the one ur mentioning of).
EVen that had perhaps some 30 questions and no mention of an essay.

Has anyone done this sample paper? If yes then please could you upload your solutions,it would be really helpful..as I am facing difficulties doing these questions. :(

But Tanya , on their website , I can still find the very same . It doesn't seem that they have added any change to it , or that they have added any additional paper. Let me know .

@Sonia : The answer for Q.1. is (c) All the students with vi above 320 will
buy.
I'm not sure about Q.2. but I think the answer should be (c) He is confronted with two rates: purchasing power parity rate and market determined rate
