Gokhale admission procedure

According to my rank, I have been allotted my third preference(c). If I want to be considered for upgradation from my allotted course (c) to (a), should I submit the fees or not? How does the second list work? Will I be out of the admission procedure if I don't submit the fees for my allotted course(c)?
And with 94 rank, what chances do I have of getting gen eco (a) ?

Also, will there be interview, or the entrance procedure is finished?

Also, I didn't get any mai from GIPE, though, I am in range of 100-120.

If you did not receive a mail, the you will just have to wait until the next lists. Your admission procedure will start once you receive a mail from them offering admission. And, i dont think there is any interview for admission.

No there is no interview

plus i believe if you dont submit the fees, they would take is as a refusal to the offer of admission and cancel your name from the merit list. And as would be obvious, offer admission to the next-in-waiting.

So you would have to submit the fees..

my rank is awful. Its 510. So any chances of making it to gipe with general/financial eco in the 2nd/3rd list??

Arushi I have the same query as you do! Did you get to know something?? What are you deciding to do then? Pay the fees? I have no problems paying the fee just that they should not think that since we've paid the fees we are happy with the course we've got and do not consider us in the general eco waiting list anymore!!??

MSE is anyday better than GIPE especially when it comes to placements . All my teachers say the same thing.

@arushi- I am not sure if u will be able to get general eco coz last tym they closed the gen Eco list at 90-91 but u will definitely get financial eco.
