Hi Lovekesh! Of course I remember, I follow the site's discussions closely, though there is very little time to participate. All's well with me :-) Currently in my second semester in IGIDR.

And how is D-School treating you?

D-school is great place. faculty is also good and some of them are just too good. But during xams time, it gets really to your head. Awesome campus, always filled with guys from surrounding campus and is the most happening place of DU. You tell, what's up in IGIDR??

May I ask you for one more help???...Do you Hv Dornbusch, Fischer and Startz, Macroeconomics ebook????
Actually I hv Found one on net but the problem with it's that it's in Spanish...although I know little bit of spanish But it is getting very difficult to translate every chapter n also it's time consuming considering little time left for the exams?????

THIS IS WORLD'S BIGGEST E-BOOK LIBRARY.

AND SUMIT, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN TRANSLATING!!

I THINK EVEN DORNBUSCH IS ALSO WASTAGE OF TIME. YOU DON'T GET CONCEPTS CLEAR AND DON'T LEARN ANY MATHEMATICAL TRICKS (THOUGH BOOK USES WORD 'ANALYTICAL' TIME TO TIME.)SEQUENCE OF CHAPTERS IS RANDOM, BELIEVE ME!!(I AM TALKING ABOUT PARTICULARLY 8TH ED. THE BEST OF DORNY WAS 6TH ED.)

I WASTED 10 DAYS ON THIS BOOK. THEN I GOOGLED FOR BEST MACRO. I FOUND OUT OUTSTANDING BOOKS.

I USED OLIVER BLANCHARD'S MACRO.THIS BOOK IS TAUGHT IN LSE TOO!!
THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS BOOK IS THAT IT HAS LEAST HANDWAVING. IT TREATS CONCEPTS MATHEMATICALLY, WHICH IS THE MOST HELPFUL THING DURING 3 HRS IN DSE PAPER.(LOOK AT PAST DSE PAPERS,THEY HAVE TOO MUCH MATHS FOR MACRO.)

I WOULD SUGGEST TO USE BLANCHARD FOR FIRST READING. I THINK IT IS ENOUGH.(THIS BOOK COVERS PERHAPS MORE MACRO THAN DORNY. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND ANY MARSHALL-LERNER CONDITIONS IN DORNY, AN ESSENTIAL AND LOVING TOPIC FOR EXAMINERS- IT HAS BEEN TWICE APPEARED IN DSE EEE.)THOUGH IF YOU AFTER FINISHING BLANCHARD GO TO DORNY, IT WILL BE HELPFUL AND FUNNY.
