Hey, lets say the function was u(x1,x2)=ln(x1) + x2. So its quasilinear with respect to x1 right?

One more thing. There were two statements :
LM represents causal relation between interest and income
IS represents causal relation between interest and income
What is this causal here ? And are these statements true ?
And one more do CPI , WPI and gdp deflator give same results ? And does gdp deflator account for inflation ?

Yes, I also think that ln(x1)+x2 is quasilinear with x2, as it is linear in x2.

There was a condition, hope you will recall, and as you have implicitly taken care off,

n>1.

And, that makes the answer, 1/(n-1), perfectly correct.
