Yeh, mine was supposed to b tday. in the new hallticket xam was shiftd to tomo. I thnk it is an online xam. Xam is definitely easier than all othr entrncs we have been writing. I hav no idea abt cut offs. Though one of my frnds sed the cut off for reserved category was -3!! Not sure abt it

@inayah Whattt!!! Thats unbelivabl ! was she kidding .Then for general it must be +30 atleast!  They are not that easy too u know... i flipped through them, lotsa random fact-based questions on Indian eco! we cant guess them nor apply theories or maths. plus i am in a roll over , kinda blank n saturated mental phase where i am forgetting known stuff.  Anyway whichever entrances we are applying in, papers are getting tougher and cut-offs higher. All the best. Mine is from 2.30PM. we will catch up here ok. write well.

Jaydee/inayah, is the exam for Madras University over yet? is the application still open? I've heard the dept of econometrics is pretty good. I'm not finding any info in the madras university website :(.

Had all those ques!! Hw many did u attempt? I attempted abt 80 questions. Wish i knew the cut offs :-/

I left 8- 10 questions i remember mostly from econometric part. or maybe more .i did a lot of altering in d last 10mins, out of dilemma. Negative marks r qt high but u often get tempted to try some guesses  I wish i knew d cut off too. what did u do abt that question whr if price rises by 30% then wats d effect on Revenue if price elasticity is infinity? I wrote revenue becomes zero. anyone any idea if my logic was ryt ? n wat abt the differnt names of economists wala questions? they wr confusing. Marshall, hirchman, joan robinson etc's contributions

I too wrote TR falls to zero. Marshal - law of variable proportion function (i din get :-/) Hirschman - unbalanced growth strategy. Dunno abt "who brought a scientific touch to indifference curve". Joan Robinson is related to law of variable proportions and as for scientific treatment of IC, i reckon it was Hicks and Allen. Also, isnt Ho rejected when calculated t exceeds critical t and thereby falls into the rejection region.

Yes you are ryt. I actually made a guess. For IC, i dont think there was Hicks and Allen option. I am not sure though.

It shud hvbn hicks, but there was no hicks in d options yup. Slutsky shud b ryt. edgeworth myt b ryt too... :( there was one question wt Krugman, stigler, rennon as option.... wat was it ?? and was one answer "perishable goods" ? i wrote tariff  on imports too   finance minister wat did u write ? they had our ex FM in d options. i chose none of the above. totally at thr discretion.  oh yea 20-25 seats for general , i counted

yeah who introduced L shaped LAC ?wat wud it be ? yeah 20-25 is too low considering entire india will apply and 25% booked for south india and over 30% for reserved castes. hope de declare results fast.  i just cant bear dis tension anymore.   try finding out the previous cut off for general please
