there r only 60 seats in this program..n about 50 percent or more seats r for reserved category..so high cutoff expected i think...

No idea about cut offs but yes, it should be high. But not many people were there giving exams which makes it even harder to guess. But UOH comes out with waiting lists , last year there were two waiting lists. So, i guess many students who do good in UOH crack other exams as well.

Hi

Speaking of Cut-offs , what is the cutoff in dse like.

the prospectus says a min. of 40 percent is required.

so is the cutoff somewhere around 40 or is it far above it .

thx

Re: Hyderabad

someone told me it always varies between 55-60. And he/she is considered idiot or genius if he attempted over 75. :P

Re: Hyderabad

if the cutoff is around 60 then the attempts will have to be for 75 or above to be safe. i think a score of 55 will be a safe bet.

it is said that the min cut off will be 40 and no student will ever be admitted to DSE if he scores below 40 and if this means only 50 students clear the exam then this will be the case for the new batch of that year..however if a lot of students score above 40 then they will increase that cut off and it will be increased to a level that correlates with the level of difficulty of the paper (which will in actuality enable them to select 100 odd students for the general category for an year).
This is something that i've heard form a lot of students of DSE..
