ISI Cutoff

What is the cutoff for ISI exam?How many quesions in maths and eco should be attempted?

maths- you shud get about 25/30..if one doesnt clear the maths section,they wont evalaute the eco answers...i am not sure about the eco part..but i read that the cutoff is about 6/10 questions

I have heard that we'll get 10 qs and we have to do any 6.

I filed a RTI a month ago. They replied back with the answer. Acc to their response, the overall cut off stated for 2013 is 75%

and we need to qualify paper 1 to get the second evaluated

OMG...What I don't understand is if the demand is very high, why won't they increase the supply..afterall they teach us economics...i'm sickened by the competition..

 ISIs are very strict about dere admissions...they dont even declare 2nd list if in case sm students in dere 1 list opt for DSE in place of ISI. The seats are left vacant

The demand supply thing is taken care of by DSE with almost 6 times of seats in ISIs

yes Akshay, but given that 50% is reserved for DU students, its raises the "prices" for non-DU folks..hopefully it is close to socially optimum..
