for the regression i took a weird guess based on the fact that if we switch the data we get negative sign for r and eventually the same for r^2 i.e .35...donno whether this makes sense or not........a senior told me 27+ shld be a safe score in pea

the total utility we get is alpha+beta+mu*beta = 1+mu*beta irrespective of mu this would be max if beta=1 .....can anyone say whats wrong with this approach?

Bhai 27+ is too much even on the safer side. I guess 25 would be more than fine.

A doesn't care about total utility while making a decision he only cares about his own utility

Bhai i googled on regression question. The answer should be 0.65 only. The coefficients are same for both the cases.
Also 75% of the marks should be a safe score i guess. That makes it 90+

for the monopolist with domestic and export market....shld we calculate individual MC=MR conditions or the entire MC=MR....i started solving through entire MC=MR but got stuck in between and ended up doing individual mc=mr which i seriously doubt because in this case the total cost function is less than the entire cost function......how did u guys solve it?
