ISI phobia

The Villain
I'm really finding ISI economics section very confusing.
I mean the numericals are very different.
Please suggest me some book from where i can solve numericals to be prepared for it.Any other suggestion how to approach it.

well, don't be afraid of ISI questions. They usually adapt economic models which you will study in MA, with slight changes in them. Anyways, coming to the point, for macro, i think no book can beat Branson. Purchase one copy of it and all these ISI questions will start making sense. For Micro, those one are applied micro and search google for solved assignments from ivy leagues. I don't know why Indian institutions go slack in designing problems. Either our proffs are not clear of what they are teaching or they just don't care. If i am not making sense, wait till you get here :)

hey
Dont have any phobia for any exam..i will say isi exam is one of the easiest exam to clear which primarily tests ur basics.
for subjective part:
micro n macro :
practice varian workbook for consumer n producer related problems
macro ke liye dornbusch n if u have time go thru branson
(optional: u can refer branson ch 6,7 to have an idea about wage demand n supply function theory, wage rigidity)
see solve each n every question properly..step by step (marks r dr for each correct step)

Objective part ke liye ..practice probability(i referred fitjee n VMC modules),for rest topics u need to see the isi syllabus
please do past years ...coz it is seen dey do repeat ques..

Re: ISI phobia

for questions of Macro...are the one given at the end of chapter more than enough or if there's any other source for better questions too?.....also for ISI I've gone through following chapters:

Macro Economics by Dornbusch, Fischer and Startz :
 chapters are the following:
Income and Spending, Money, Interest and Income, Monetary and Fiscal Policy, International Linkages, Aggregate Demand and Supply: An Introduction, Aggregate Supply: Wages, Prices and Employment, The Demand for Money, Dynamics of Inflation and Unemployment, Tradeoffs between Inflation and Unemployment, International Adjustment and Interdependence.

Development Economics by Debraj Ray (for Solow and Harrod Domar growth models).

Is there any other chapter to go thru for Macro and also if u may refer me some sources to practice questions as I haven't done any.

Thanks.
