Please let me know the approximate number of interview calls and final selections one can expect in igidr msc eco programme.
And when do the interviews generally happen.
Also, for igidr 2012 ,what can the cut off marks range from.? :)
Are there any sectional cutoffs as well.
Hi Manvendra,
The interview calls are sent out at the end of may and the interviews are held in the last week of June.
I don't know the exact (or approx) numbers, but what I do remember from last year is that the number of final selections from among those called for the interview is very low.
Sectional cut-offs are certainly there but I have no clue about the likely cut-offs.
How was ur exam? How many did u attempt? I attempted 60-65 from section 1 and 40-45 from section 2. I didn't do much guesswork (I should have).
Hey vasudha...all the best for upcoming clg nd entrance exams...
Hope u had a good test today but actually institutes like dse nd isi deserve to have a student like you...good luck..tc:-)
Manvendra, I am giving neither of them..my college exams will end on 13th! :S
I guess gokhale would be better. Everyone would have a different opinion on it though!
All the best to u for all the exams :)
The quality of any program depends on the curriculum and faculty as far as MA Eco is concerned. The curriculum at DSE and ISI is top class, followed by IGIDR and after that a evenly balanced course from JNU. MA Eco from Hyderabad offers advanced econometrics and other such maths intensive electives. What it fails to offer is intense Microeconomics and macroeconomics courses like monetray economics, dynamic macroeconomics, computational finannce etc.
@Manvendra hi, can you tell me when is the last date for MSE application and where can I get the application form. Earlier important dates were posted on MSE website but now they are not there and they are giving the central university of Tamilnadu website to refer for the details. I didn't find anything in that website. it would be great if you tell me the details of application process..:)
