Someone plz solve this question-

Q1) Suppose that in Meghalaya, the probab that a rainy day is followed by a rainy day is 0.80 & the probab that a sunny day is followed by a rainy day is 0.60. Find the probab that a rainy day is followed by a rainy day, a sunny day and another rainy day.

Q2) Which is not a measure of inequality-
a) Median
b) Coefficient of variation
c) range
d) gini coeff

P(R,S)=.2
P(S,R)=.6
P(S,S)=.4

HENCE P(R,R)*P(R,S)*P(S*R)=.8*.2*.6=.096

R,R IMPLIES BOTH RAINY, R, S IMPLIES FIRST DAY RAINY NEXT DAY SUNNY.. N SO ON

P of rainy day is follod by rainy day=.8
so P of rainy day is follod by sunny day=1-.8=.2
P of sunny day follod by rainy day=.6
we need the follod sequence=rain-rain-sun-rain=.8*.2*.6=.096
(i am not sure bout it)

q1.I think that above explanation given by vandita n akshay is correct..

q2. Ans.a).median bcoz it is a measure of central tendency whereas all others are measure of dispersion.
