JNU Results

Hi, I have a question regarding JNU results...Some got "NOT ELIGIBLE" some got "NOT SELECTED". My question is what is the difference between the two? Is it so that the students NOT SELECTED may get selected in the waiting list? Also, when will the waiting list be out?

To be honest I haven't seen anyone with not selected tag .but if u r saying so ur logic seems sensible

Yes not eligible means...prsn has not scored the minimum marks for qualifying and not selected means..prsn has qualified and is in the waiting list

Ok so I'm not eligible for SSS and not selected for SIS. So can anyone tell me when the waiting list will be out? And is there any way to know what is my rank in the waiting list?  Can anyone who will be visiting JNU soon help me?

i think in SSS who didnt get min marks in objective questions, they are disqualified as their subjective questions would not be considered, & candidates who got that min marks in objective but after adding the marks of subjective, didnt get the place in rank list are "not selected" candidates.

There is no waiting list as such in JNU.Although they would release a second list for students,like those who leave their admission from the first list or failed to present proper documents,they would be replaced by students in the second list,but that list includes few students and the merit score generally fall by 3-4 marks!

For SIS? The strange part is my SIS result is showing not selected in two rows... is it same for you?

Yes two rows....may be a software glitch!Wait for the second list,may be luck plays on ur side then!Good luck

As far as i can think,if one could not manage scoring min.  marks,then one is not counted for merit, i think its 33% .May be...

Jnu website says that last date for admission is 1st August.
So does it really make sense to wait fr the second list that is presumed to be announced by 5 August..
Guys please reply!!!😔
