I m on my way to jnu,yesterday the men at the admin blocks reception asked me to check after 2 pm today.

when I made a call to dem, day said, "before 8 PM today"!!!! now god knows...actually, to different ppl they r giving different dates & time!!

The student union leader says that the delay is so that they can add more deprivation points for OBC, SC, ST, women,  regional students. The student union was protesting rationalization of deprivation points by JNU admin, seems they got their way.

Deprivation point's upper limit has been increased by 2 marks!Before it was 10,now 12!But it doesnt count for Sc,St or obc!Its for people frm quartile districts,wards of Defence personnel wounded or killed, & Female candidates!

Deprivation points are extra marks given for free over marks scored in Exam,for every female its +5 marks,for ppl frm backward region its +5 or + 3 frm semi backward,For defence personnel martyred children its +5 i guess.......its awarded so tht only elite students frm elite colleges doesnt dominate entrance exams bcoz they hv better access to expensive books & libraries.Jnu  promotes equalisation!
