Do you have statistics on the PhD admits from the two places? I understand why JNU may be better than DSE for IAS prep, but I truly don't understand how DSE falls behind JNU in PhD admits.

DSE defntly beats JNU in PhD admits. Go 2 JNU only if u wnt 2 do ias or ies

U cnt prepare fr civil with dse due to d course load so if u r unsure go 4 jnu u may nt hav opportunities to pursue phd frm d very best foreign schools bt will stl hav gud opportunities

One small doubt. Is the pressure in dse really large? As in, there is a lot of chance of getting backs? Also, given a choice between igidr and dse, which one should I chose given that im more interested in placements?

Yes. Ppl say it's literally hell. Huge batch size nd tuff course work. Plcments r 1 of d best bt I've heard if u gt bck evn once u cnt sit fr plcmnts. Dse defntly bt u need 2 b serious nd wrk rlly hrd
