JNU SIS v/s IGIDR

Hey guys, just discovered this forum now. I have to choose between JNU SIS and IGIDR (until DSE results come out, that is). I have heard good reviews about both, but I want a course which is more mathematically inclined or quantitative in nature. As of now, I am undecided between a corporate placement or further research, but its likely to be the latter. What would be your preference and why? Thanks in advance

If you are getting more than 40 in DSe , then you will get thru. It depends on those marks as well. Anyways I wud say prefer sis over igidr if this is the only option u have. By any chance Nihal ??

That's me. I am expecting above 40 in DSE but I want to have a clear plan B. As far as student-facutly ratio and prospects for future research are concerned, I think both fare equally well. I know that IGIDR has good placements and the course has decent mathematical intensity, but not so sure about SIS. Do you have some info on that?

about sis i have heard it has good placements this year the highest package was around 12lacks pa and the lowest was 5-6lack pa
