@Eco2016: As far as I know and what I heard from seniors from there, although the degree SAU offers is called MA in Development economics but the course structure is very much similar to DSE and it doesn't restrict from pursuing anything that we could after an MA in Economics.
@Homer Simpson: why do you say GIPE? Placements seems to be the only factor. Also, the course here is entirely based on financial economics and misses out on some core subjects.
Since I wasn't sure of whether i would want to go ahead with financial economics at thi point, I have taken JNU (SSS). Let's see how it goes. :)
