Hey! I have been shortlisted for viva at JNU for CESP and CSRD. Please advice which centre is better for MPhil/PhD from JNU? Thanks.

Hey jack 1  as far as I know cesp is much much better than csrd..
could  U pls tell hw to prepare for mphil from jnu specially ...the books to follow ny tips ...pls d share wid us wat was asked in interview by the panel
.have U prepared the proposal ?hw many words..

Look, I just did the past year papers thoroughly. I don't think, you need to refer to any specific books for entrance. Just brush up your basics. Competition is not all that stiff, like masters. All the best.

@jack which institutes have U filled for mphil? One very imp thing ...in jnu ,the regional development paper is descriptive with short answers nd Indian eco long essays ....can U tell me did U follow ny specific book for it or specific reading for Indian economy or its just the general newspaper reading will help in writing answers...i means can those questions be handled  easily with flow f thoughts at that point f time  or d we need to learn some data / figures for making the answers more presentable ? Pls answer it

See, for the essay types, you just need to be well aware of the recent economic issues and the general topics like mnrega, national food security programme, monetary policy, inflation etc. If you manage to supplement your answers with figures, then nothing like it.
