MA in Development Studies at IIT Guwahati

Has anyone applied to this programme? They have a test at the campus in Guwahati on 18th June and I can't decide whether I should go give it. Does anyone have an idea about the faculty or research output? The course structure seems okayish I guess, but not at all focused on quantitative research.

I realise that this probably isn't the most appropriate forum for my query, but I figured some of you would be interested in Development Studies.
