MSE MERIT LIST

Does anyone know when will the MSE merit list will be out? They said 29th is counselling. On what basis are we going for the counselling? We don't even know our ranks.

Yeah exactly. Until they put up a cut off mark, nothing can be expected. At least by now they should have done it.

That's not MSE merit list.
That's CUTN's list. Only if you applied to courses offered by CUTN will your name appear on their list. Even CUTN is offering MA Economics.
MSE list will be out tomorrow.

The list is out. But what do they mean by first come first serve basis

That's how it works in counselling right? on the basis of the rank, seats are given to the people present there.
I don't understand why do they want to keep 5K in case of withdrawal. Every institute keeps 1000 rupees.

It's a little unclear I feel. Their call letter will be emailed by 28th but that doesn't guarantee admission either. Plus they want a non refundable deposit of 5k.

Every student who gets a seat there will have to pay the deposit. And the call letter does not guarantee admission because the number of people called is more than the number of seats. So seats will be given on the basis of who all are present there at the time of counselling and their ranks.

I think you should get general eco most probably. There are 50 seats in the course. Did you get through IGIDR?
