guys i got envrnmntl ecnmcs .. so wat should i do take it or not .. i have also got call from gokhale of agribusiness ecnmcs , may be i get  finacial but still i had not prepared a whole year for these ..
so help me out wat is d scope of envrnmntal. there will be no corporqte job that i know.:(  so wat else

take it.. no point dropping again..!! Its better than gipe agri business..and MoEF has given MSE the status of center of excellence for environmental eco..!! I too have taken environ at MSE.. and there is no dearth of scope in this field..nd getting a job depends on your caliber. Its not that there isn't any on campus placements..there are but a little less as compared to  other courses..!! there is immense scope in research in this feild..!! rest is your choice!!

yaar i got financial eco from gokhale.. now its more confusing.. mind says fincl bcz if plcmnts but heart says mse bcz its mse.. help me out

@hbk you really need to take a decision based on what you want to do in the future and your interest and the course content of both. Just go through the curriculum and seeing the future prospects decide , there is not much difference between two institutes. If you are more inclined towards corporate placements go for financial.

Go for MSE environmental economics.MSE is a proven institute. Moreover the placements at financial has degraded over the years and so not worth. Take MSE.

Also ,MSE has a few vacant seats and it will be converted to General .So , you may get something better like Quant finance or Acturial eco.

@hbk- around what range is your rank in gokhlae?

@hbk- I think you should take up MSE as you will have more scope and exposure there . gokhale has below average placements so do t think that taking up financial would ensure yoh decent placements . This time in gokhlae only 16-17 people got placed.

they said in counselling that they wont convert seats bcz of supreme court rules.. :(
