@Viv They do not consider preferences ? that means if a person has scored pretty well, but had not written or mentioned one particular subject anywhere as preference at all, can he or she be eligible for its seat although he didnt mention it ?

1 got 62

Preference General Eco
Finance
Environment

Do I stand any chance?
And apart from these 3 courses, if I want to opt for any other, would they be open?

I think you better ask the administrative people. Secondly, if there is indeed an error, it will definitely be rectified - the rank is the actual deciding factor here. So better to wait till the rank list comes out and focus on your annual exams at the moment.

Whoa ???? C'mon It is not feasible. I am sure they will have to extend. By 16th June, its doubtful they themselves can give out the cut off lists. Omg it will b tragic if its 16th June

People, your preferences given in the form dont really matter. During the counselling, they will make everyone sit rankwise and start filling seats as per the rank order. So by the time 50th seat of GE gets filled, you can opt for it and so on.

And everyone's says GE. I didnt even give GE as an option. Dont worry. All is fine

Guys can you please check if some/ most of you have your scores very similar to your qualifying degree percentage! In my case they are quite the same! I have got 68 marks which are in line with my qualifying degree percentage. (I haven't done eco hons! ) I suspect that the technical glitch that they were excusing themselves with and not publishing the results for so long suggests it was something probably more than a technical glitch, probably and I repeat PROBABLY something wrong happened to our answer sheets! I know it may sound like a hyperbole to you guys but we can't ignore this possibility! I have another reason for saying this: I mean just think why are they so hellbent on having our scanned mark sheets before declaring the cutoffs! I mean which college does that!!?? How are cutoffs in any way related to our qualifying degree marks if there was an entrance test for admission. How a can they suddenly decide in the end, to give weightage to qualifying marks and on what basis will they decide b/w people from different backgrounds (eco and non eco backgrounds)!! Sorry for taking your time guys but please think about it and check if your scores are really close to your qualifying degree/ aggregate of first two/ three years marks if you have not already completed the degree!

Hi guys I don't really think this is the case.. At least not with me. Also they have been asking for mark sheets for quite a long time and this is the general pattern of mse admissions.
