Hey, does anyone know how good the PG diploma from Meghnad Desai Academy is? And also, how does it compare with Gokhale and JNU?

If you want to do phd or mphil after this then leave it this is not a pg,  even for corporate jobs, only one batch has passed out, but their contacts can fetch you some really good placements.
If you have the choice of gokhale & Jnu, then forget about MDAE, but on a positive side, their faculty , guest professors are world class & they have good placements. But again the fees for 1year course is around 7lacs, which according to me is very high for one year diploma of a new institution. I saw the course structure, it is made for corporate jobs.

Thanks a lot for your analysis. It hits home the point. I do want to do a PhD but not from India. A US university would be preferred. By that objective, I want to know if a masters degree from gokhale will be superior to a diploma from MDAE because of recommendation letters from some of the best faculty in the world and work experience that gain from placements. If not, should I go for gokhale with an average faculty but a full fledged well known masters or MDAE with great faculty a diploma?

Even I was thinking to join MDAE & i want to do PHd after my pg, but I think an old institution has its own reputation & value.  
Joining MDAE is a risk, a similar risk was taken by 3 students whoin joined SNU in 2012, but SNU turned out to be a success.
Secondly if it was a full 2 year pg, I would have definitely joined it. We cant appear in NET/IES after this.
