Just trolling. Why M.Phil. is important?
Does it make aspirant better in the marketplace?
Can one go directly to M.Phil. after bachelors?
Is M.Phil. research oriented or one has to do regular coursework?
Is it substitute of Ph.D.?

Most important: Is M.Phil. necessary  to get in good Ph.D.?

But most US univ.s offer Ph.D. after just completing 4 yr bachelors. Why do you waste one (or two) years? I think 5 years in Ph.D. is long long period in itself.
