Please solve this!

(This is from MICROECONOMIC THEORY by Nicholson and Snyder )
The answer at the end of the book is "A circular field encloses maximal area for minimum
perimeter. Proof requires a limit argument."

But, how to show(prove) that? If you know formal proof, it is best.If not, intuitions will help me a lot.
