University of hyderabad vs MSE

Which one is better univ of Hyd or MSE. And is every course in MSE better than UOH's m.a. economics.. confused please help..!!

Hi Sumedha !
See if you compare general economics , definitely MSE is better. As far as it's other courses are concerned , that depends upon your interest. People generally take financial and AQF from corporate placement perspective. If you are research oriented, even UOH is not bad . If you see google rankings of colleges for economics , UOH has a good position.

I have already taken admission in UOH Nd have got counseling call from MSE too.. so which courses should I prefer in MSE  over UOH from placement point of view..!!
Nd also from PhD point of view!!

From placement point of view , general , financial and AQF all are good. What is your score in MSE ?

Yes UOH just have gen Eco..
My score is 71/100.. rank list isn't out yet.. as per last year's trend I'll probably won't get gen or even financial!! Therefore em confused.. as to whether I shud switch or not. I've also heard that their environmental is good too..do u have any idea abt that.. Nd is that better than UOH

See environment is good for research. I guess from placement's perspective , it may not be a good option. In India , it has a restricted scope. For example , you will not be eligible for IES. Also in DU colleges ( if you are planning for lectureship ) it will not be of any great help. So it's more about RnD. But yes , at the end of the day , everything depends upon your interest. So you planning to attend the counselling ? Btw any idea , last year upto which score general was available ?

What is the cut off for environment ?
I guess this time over all cut off has gone up , because in counselling schedule people with a min score of 61 have been called. Last year , guess environment was at 55. But I gues this time , it would be higher.
