Varian : Chapters to study for MSQE

sphyrch
I don't have an economics background, so I would be really grateful if someone (who's either preparing now or has already given the exam in the past) could point out which chapters from Varian's Intermediate Microeconomics I should study for ISI's MSQE exam.

Here's the Table of Contents : http://lib.ewubd.edu/vufind/Record/7251/TOC

The syllabus given on their admission page is as follows:

Microeconomics: Theory of consumer behaviour, theory of production,
market structure under perfect competition, monopoly, price discrimination,
duopoly with Cournot and Bertrand competition, public goods, externalities,
general equilibrium, welfare economics.

I can't quite make out which chapters in Varian would sufficiently cover the topics given in the syllabus.

Nikkita
see need to do all chapters mostly, may leave just:
    Asset markets
    Auctions
    Factor markets
    Information technology

(Auctions also may come...not sure)

In the study guide (http://economicsentrance.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/0/5/1105777/study_guide.pdf), the following chapters aren't included:

Asset Markets, Uncertainty, Risky Assets, Measurement, Auctions, Industrial Supply, Behavioral Economics, Information Technology.

But I'm not sure if the study guide is specifically for MSQE.
