Consider an experiment in which five fibers having different lengths are subjected to a testing process to learn which fiber will break first. The lengths of five fibers are 1 inch, 2 inches, 3 inches, 4 inches and 5 inches. Suppose the probability that any fiber will be the first to break is proportional to the length of that fiber. The probability that the length of the fiber that breaks first is not more than 3 inches is ??

i think it would be like this............
1/15+2/15+3/15=6/15....=2/5 is the answer......i am nt sure
