Re: dse 2013 doubt

mrittik
Pre-'91 rate of rate of change in poverty is -1.1 but pop growth is 2.2 which is greater mod value...now for the 2nd one ie post-91 has change in poverty is -2.4 but pop growth is 1.7, now |-2.4|>|1.7|...so the total no of poor people was rising before '91 but falling after '91.

-1.6<-1 & -2.1<-.7.....NAS growing faster than NSS data...

u just do da prblms acc to growth rate comparison...nothing else...otherwise it got screwed....

ok shefali...in any exam when u r able to do one more qsn then marginally ur fear decreased...but how much? so then u have to take mod value to compare the both...2nd case is ur xams in take it as exampleGIPE & JNU...break it in 2 way 1st 1:30 hr each...how fast u were able 2 solve the qsns..they are are just comparing with each other with true values then why do u take mod? understood?

Re: dse 2013 doubt

mrittik
CDF is rising in the interval [a,b) & Horizontal [b,c]....so it is an continuous one....then c or b is the largest value.....the Pr(x=b) obviously >0 from the basic definition of probability
