gipe v/s mse v/s sau

hi all
confused regarding a choice among these until jnu/ dse results are out.

pros for these, from what i've heard:
mse- course structure, placements
gipe- research, well established aged institute
sau- faculty

i'm a delhiite. still can't decide if i should leave delhi for mse or gipe. please suggest. :)

i have three choices mse/gipe/jamia
and there is no strct prfrnce to stay in delhi , i will be more than willing to live outside delhi..
so which one?

Hi hbk, i think you should go for mse. The curricullum is really good for both gen and fin eco. Though, placements slightly better for fin eco. among the choices you've got, i would strongly recommend MSE. Gipe is also good for research purposes, and known for decent placements.

Why dont u want to stay in delhi ? u shud hv idea what a grt peer group u had/ will have there.

Go MSE.
For eg : most of the IIM's are not in metro cities(eg ahmedabad, iim lucknow,iim indore) so shouldnt one go there. There is more to life than Delhi. go mse , make your life.

well tanu it is as simple as that mse is better then why not go there.. in the end we are looking gud acadmcs and then good placements.. and also i guess it wud be fun to live a hostel life .. u know wat i mean a whole new experience yar..

SAU has a really good faculty. Plus it offers global exposure.
 MSE is also good , but with time , I guess it's deteriorating . One of my friends is there in MSE and she says that faculty is pretty average and some of the new recruits are awful. Placements are good , however some companies strictly prefer people from AQF and financial , and hence students from other courses are not even allowed to sit in their placement procedure. For internship , no help is provided by the faculty. My friend and her other colleagues managed on their own . Plus many projects keep going on there ( in collaboration with other eminent institutes ) , however , no student involvement is encouraged.

dude...not chennai from delhi...trust me i have lived in both places....its difficult in madras....

Mse is not better than jamia...jamia is a very nice place...
