igidr prep

Hi can someone pls tell how to prepare for igidr? wat sort of questions r v asked.seniors pls help!

The paper has got 4 Sections:
1.English
2.Basic Mathematics
3.Economics
4.Advanced Mathematics
Out of which 1 and 2 are compulsory and from  3 and 4 one has to selected
You can refer to the attached pdf msc2014.pdf
If you are appearing from Non-Eco background:
You can go for 4th Section.
English is quite basic level and doesnt require much of effort.Just practice few general level ques.
Basic Mathematics is also doable if you are appear for the 4th Section.
As Far As I Remember : Section 2 Maths was quite easy and had very basic level questions.

For 4th Section : You can refer to this book

It covers most of the topics which can also take care for Section 2 as well.

ps : Not from Eco Background,thus not in a position to recommend anything.Browse through this forum,you will find names of books for Eco wala part.
