Hi ,

Market Capitalisation means the number of shares of a company traded on the stock exchange as in this case i.e. BSE . The answer is 'b' the value of the shares trading the exchange rose by 100 %. Sensex , is an index of 25 -27 high performing stocks (or blue chip companies as we like to call).
