no. of seats in JNU for SSS n SIS

the JNU site says that total intake for 2012-2013 in SSS is 77,while total offer is 120.
similarly,in SIS,total intake is 31,while total offer is 50.
can anybody explain me d diffrence between "total intake" and "total offer"???????????

i think it means they'll offer admission to 120 people though they hv 77 seats. they don't hv any 2nd list so they offer admission to more people right at the beginning.

yeah i've taken admission in dse :)
the isi interview was strange. initially i thought it was good but i later realized that i made some mistakes :|
anyway i wasn't clueless in there..that's my main concern..n how cud i hv been clueless when they gave a question right out of a sample paper of theirs!

yes,,i m,,,,aprt frm ths they hd a secnd list (havng list of10-15 studnts)
