In my opinion Presidency University is better than Jamia, or to some extent and on some parameters even better than Hyderabad Univ too..!!!

Subhayu, I see you haven't mentioned MSE? Any particular reason? Is it not a good place to be in?

SNU is equivalent to JNU?

Moreover, I think Jamia is better than TERI and SAU. I know a lot of people who are placed good and even doing good in academic field from Jamia, though I'm not sure about Teri/Sau/Snu.

My top 5:
ISI
D School
JNU(SIS)/IGIDR
Madras/Jnu(SSS)
Jamia/Gokhale(Economics, not finance)

It would be more useful if the people presenting the rankings would also mention the basis of ranking or what factors are being considered in the ranking. Is cost a consideration?

Mate I study at Presidency undergrad. The placements are good but, apart from that, if you consider the teaching, its really suspect. So while its hard to judge, I don't think you get better teaching here.

I have been to a presentation in Zicklin University where the senior professor Dr. Aloke Ghosh delivered his views on scope of economics and accountancy. There is a lot of scope in this field.
