1. ISI
2. DSE (Only slightly lower than ISI)
3. IGIDR (The top three end here)
4. SNU/JNU (The last good university)
5. MSE
6. GIPE (only slightly lower)
7. TERI
Not sure about the rest like PU, SAU, etc
Moreover, I think Jamia is better than TERI and SAU. I know a lot of people who are placed good and even doing good in academic field from Jamia, though I'm not sure about Teri/Sau/Snu.
My top 5:
ISI
D School
JNU(SIS)/IGIDR
Madras/Jnu(SSS)
Jamia/Gokhale(Economics, not finance)
It would be more useful if the people presenting the rankings would also mention the basis of ranking or what factors are being considered in the ranking. Is cost a consideration?
cheapest colleges in america
Mate I study at Presidency undergrad. The placements are good but, apart from that, if you consider the teaching, its really suspect. So while its hard to judge, I don't think you get better teaching here.
I have been to a presentation in Zicklin University where the senior professor Dr. Aloke Ghosh delivered his views on scope of economics and accountancy. There is a lot of scope in this field.
