23) Dont consider that example. Its wrong. Let me give you a rough idea.
Its given that the function can take only rational values , its continuous and f(1)=1.
Now, if you take any function which has "x" term in it.. then, it can take irrational values.
Therefore, it must be the case that f(x) is a constant function.
And as f(1)=1⇒ f(x)=1.
Therefore, f(2)=1.
14) Yes, the minimum value is greater than 2.
13) Take f(x)= 2+4x and g(x)=2x
Now, solve the question by ruling out options.
