For ques 43:
Given:X is true => Y is true.
X is false => Z is true.
Z is false.

If Z is false is given, we can conclude that X is true. And now X is true implies Y is true (given). So, both X & Y are true. part - a.
For ques 44 :
X => Y, Y => Z
Its given that Y is false.
Now , Y is false , we cant conclude anything about Z . Z could be true/ false.
But X implies Y . And Y is false , then it must be that X is false.
( X=> Y, negation of this ~X=> ~Y)
