Basically, i took

=> (K-0.25K)/Y = 3
=> 0.75K/Y = 3
=> K/Y = 4

Now,

=> g = 30/4 - 1 = 6.5 which is (b)?
 
 Okay, now i forgot how i got 12.33 in the first place! Any idea how to this problem correctly??
