C = Y1^2 + Y2^2
C = Y1^2 + (Y-Y1^2)
solve dC/dY1 = 0 you will get Y1 = Y/2 and put Y= Y1 + Y2 in the bold Y1
hence you will get Y1 = Y2 = Y/2

Profit = P(Y1+Y2)-(Y1^2 + Y2^2)
solve FOC wrt Y1 and Y2 respectively. You will get Y1 = Y2 = 3/2 i.e. Y = 3

61 Profit = P(Y1+Y2)-(Y1^2 + Y2^2)
    at P = 3, (Y1+Y2) = Y=3, Y1 = Y2 = 3/2. so profit = 18/4
